Hepatica acutiloba without Stamens

Maiden-form Hepatica acutiloba

Here are some of our special H. acutiloba that don't have any stamens. This type is not very common but you can find them if you are lucky! This kind of Hepatica flower is called 'Otome-zaki' in Japanese Hepatica and is very popular among enthusiasts because of the clean look.

It is easy to miss this subtle fact, but this kind of small detail is the key to potentially being a candidate for a breeding plant.
